The truck caught fire around 5 a.m. and has taken hours to put out— leading to northbound rubbernecking and major slow downs, PennDOT officials say.

The crash and fire happened in the southbound bound lanes between Exit: PA 39 - MANADA HILL/HERSHEY and Exit 72: PAXTONIA/LINGLESTOWN, according to PennDOT.

All southbound lanes remained closed as of 9:30 a.m.
